The name "Hon," which means "origin" or "true" in Japanese, reflects our commitment to honoring the authentic roots of yoga while making it accessible to everyone. Our story started with a desire to create activewear that supports both movement and mindfulness.
Founded with a love for design and functionality, Hon Yoga is driven by the belief that high-quality, stylish activewear can inspire confidence and strength. We focus on creating products that are not only functional but also encourage a sense of peace, balance, and well-being for every yogi—whether in the studio, at home, or outdoors.
Our mission is simple: to provide activewear that offers comfort, protection, beauty, and freedom, empowering you to move with confidence, joy, and elegance, through thoughtful design, sustainable practices, and a community-centered approach.
Our Journey
Our story began in Tokyo, where I met my wife. It was also during this time that she started to explore yoga more deeply and became truly passionate about it. Practicing yoga every day allowed her to connect with her body and feel the love I had for her, as well as the love life had to offer.
As she immersed herself in yoga, she realized the need for clothing that could protect her during practice while also offering comfort, confidence, and beauty. She wanted yoga wear that she could not only practice in but also wear in her everyday life. Yoga helped her love herself and her life more, and her yoga clothing helped her love yoga even more.
In Autumn 2022, we returned to America, inspired by yoga and life's authenticity. By 2024, we had developed the first designs for our REACH collection, our debut leggings collection, with the help of top designers. Thanks to the incredible support of leading factories, material suppliers, and expert garment quality managers, we were able to create beautiful prototypes, ready for launch. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved!
At the end of 2024, we proudly launched our first collection of leggings. With a deep love for yoga, life, and a belief in honesty, we named our brand HON YOGA, with the hope of offering products and services that truly bring value to your life.
